It’s been a wee bit busy here at Cornucopia Central these past few weeks. I saw the newsletters mounting up in my own inbox. I decided the very BEST ADVICE I could give my readers for the end of the year was: (drumroll, please!)
Relax! Let your brain rest before tackling the New Year round of setting new goals, creating new strategies and employing new tactics to achieve those goals.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through my office
Not a creature was stirring, not even the boss–it
–would seem the Cornucopia was filled to the brim
And wouldn’t require my going out on a limb.
The marketing campaigns were all launched for my clients,
With visions of great revenues, I hoped for compliance!
With Krispy in her dog bed, and I at my desk,
I settled down to write and hoped for the best.
When suddenly the phone rang, it startled me so!
I didn’t expect it, but it made me just glow.
“I need artwork quick!” The voice pleaded with sincerity.
But even St. Nick would have needed some brevity.
“I know it’s nearly Christmas,” she said sheepishly.
“But I’m desperate for graphics!” and I thought:
“I hope she’s feeling gratefully!”
Then out of my head sprang a great idea,
I jumped onto Photoshop to give it a spin.
I hoped it wasn’t just onomatopoeia;
And sure enough, it was as good as Bombay Gin!
“I’ll have it before Santa’s stuffed all your stockings.”
She thanked me, hung up, amazed I wasn’t balking.
I whipped out her design, and hit Send in a flash.
Cornucopia’s Creations’ Christmas is off to a dash!
Merry Christmas, Everyone!
